New Car: 2012 Jeep Liberty Arctic

The 2012 Liberty Arctic treatment is similar, but incorporates some unique touches. A fourth exterior paint color – Mineral Grey – is available only on the Liberty model. Exterior emblems and black-finished 16-inch aluminum wheels echo the Wrangler Arctic package, but the Liberty Arctic receives blacked-out headlamp bezels, deep tint window glass, and a hood decal that’s allegedly exclusive to the Liberty model.

Liberty Arctic models continue with the black-and-orange color scheme established by its Wrangler sibling, but branches off in its own direction. Seats are trimmed in black vinyl, but feature Techtonic fabric inserts, an embossed logo, and orange accent stitching along the seat backs, cushions, and headrests. Liberty Arctic models also receive grey-colored gauge faces, Mopar-sourced slush mats, and a nine-speaker Infiniti audio system.

Pricing for either model in the U.S. has yet to be announced, but expect those figures to arrive shortly: Jeep says both the 2012 Wrangler Arctic and 2012 Liberty Arctic will roll into dealers across the country later this month.
