LA Show 2011 Highlights: Buick LaCrosse GL Concept

The Buick LaCrosse GL Concept – unveiled here at the Los Angeles motor show - is billed as a design study to see just how luxurious a LaCrosse can be – but it also gives hints as to the direction of the Buick brand.

The GL Concept features design flourishes such as 20-inch alloys, a two-tone interior, suede headliner, coloured seat stitching and brushed and tinted chrome accents on the grille.

“This vehicle truly has to be experienced from the inside,” said Magdalena Kokoszynska, creative designer on the LaCrosse GL. “We want to bring that emotional appeal and emotional sophistication to our customer.”

If these features get a favourable reaction from show goers, they are likely to form the basis for a - highly profitable - new, top level trim option across Buick models.
