New Car: 2012 Mini Olympic for China

MINI as a “British” brand are all hot and bothered about the up coming Olympics being held in London this year, likely due to their parent company’s unrelenting sponsorship deals with the organizors. The good news is that Chinese people love the Olympics, and they love MINI too, so the two have combined to make a special edition Olympic MINI for China.

The only difference from a regular MINI is the addition of Olympic Special Edition tags around the car and some fairly unique stripes. The MINI will use the same 1.6L engine as other models and will be good for hitting speeds of up to 197km, which is not shabby at all. Expect to see the Olympic MINI on the market in July.
