Frankfurt Show 2011 Highlights: 2012 Bugatti Veyron L'Orc Blanc

Bugatti has revealed its latest special edition - the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport - at the Frankfurt motor show.

The one-off Bugatti L’Or Blanc model is clad with porcelain inside and out in a joint venture with German porcelain manufacturer Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur.

The material is used in seven locations around the car, including the wheel centres, fuel cap and badge on the back.

Inside, a porcelain dish adorns the centre console, which can be used as a caviar tray.

Bugatti director of sales and marketing Dr Stefan Brungs said: “At first, it seems to be an unusual idea to use porcelain in a car, especially in the world’s fastest convertible.

“But this is what Bugatti stands for: the realisation of exceptional ideas whilst striving for the utmost in quality and aesthetics.”

The Bugatti L’Or Blanc will come with a price-tag of 1.65m euros (£1.48m).
