Suzuki has just given the Suzuki Grand Vitara a cosmetic update in Japan, where it is known as the Suzuki Escudo. Changes are on the surface, but enough to give the Grand Vitara a different look. There’s a new grille, a new bumper design, small changes to the headlamp design, and new alloy wheels. The rear tyre holder has also gone missing. There is also a new colour called Brown Pearl Metallic – yet another car manufacturer has embraced brown as a vehicle colour.
I wonder if this update will eventually reach our shores – the Grand Vitara is sold here for RM120k OTR with insurance. Frankly, I think I prefer the current one sold here, as the new grille and the lack of a spare tyre mounted on the tailgate has softened the look of the SUV.Thanks to: Paultan
