The new Chrysler 200 convertible-based Lancia Flavia Cabrio has been unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show today.
The Turin-based firm has put it into production after being encouraged by the response to a concept version shown at Geneva in March.
The Flavia Cabrio is 4900mm long, 1800mm wide, 1400mm high and has a wheelbase of 2760mm. Lancia has designed it to offer ‘the ultimate in interior room’ for the four occupants. The car comes with a 2.4-litre, 175bhp petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The soft top is electrically-controlled. The cockpit includes a leather steering wheel and seats and chrome-plated detailing on the dashboard.
Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloys, leather upholstery, electronic stability control, ABS and a multimedia system with sat-nav.
A saloon variant, which was also displayed as a concept at the Geneva show earlier this year, was not on show in Frankfurt and is unlikely to be offered in Europe.
