Aston Martin will lift the covers off two new special edition models at the Frankfurt motor show.
The Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition – available in both Coupé and Volante guises – follows on from the DBS Carbon Black models introduced in 2009 and is available in two new colours, including Flame Orange and Ceramic Grey together with the existing Carbon Black paint work.
Externally, the special DBS gets 10-spoke gloss-black diamond turned alloys as standard, which come coupled with black brake callipers - yellow, orange, red or grey callipers can be chosen as an option.
Other features include a black grille, carbonfibre ‘mirror heads’, carbon rear lamp in-fills and smoked rear lights, to create a “DBS specification like never before,” according to Aston Martin.
The plush interior – which takes a claimed 70 hours to hand stitch and finish – “plays host to the familiar swathes of obsidian black or maranello orange semi-aniline leather.”
Further interior touches include a leather-quilted headlining and a carbonfibre facia with a carbon weave. The magnesium alloy paddles, too, are tipped with carbonfibre and a carbonfibre special edition sill plaque completes the look.
Prices for the Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition start from £186,582 for the coupé model, rising to £196,581 for the Volante.
Customer deliveries are expected at the beginning of 2012.
