Alpina’s Frankfurt motor show star is this BMW Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo Convertible, which has a top speed of 193mph and boasts 100bhp more than a regular BMW 6-series cabrio.
The manufacturer has teased the 4.4-litre V8 engine’s power output up to 500bhp at 5500rpm, while torque is up to 516lb ft at 3000-4750rpm compared to the 443lb ft of the standard 650i.
Alpina claims the car will offer ‘open-top indulgence par excellence’. It will cover 0-62mph in 4.8sec and offers CO2 emissions of 255g/km.
Fuel consumption is a claimed 25.9mpg.
