Subaru and Toyota’s ever-closer relationship is bearing fruit. This time it’s the new Trezia, which is essentially the new Toyota Verso-S supermini MPV with Subaru’s family face grafted on the front.
Everything else on the new Subaru is identical to the Toyota version, which is called the Ractis in Japan. That means the Trezia is powered by the same 1.3-litre or 1.5-litre petrol engines, and comes with a choice of two- or four-wheel drive layouts.
Prices in Japan range from 1.36 million Yen (£10,350) to 1.87 million Yen (£14,200).
Subaru currently has no plans to bring the car to the UK. However, with the increasing popularity of B-segment supermini MPVs like the Citroen C3 Picasso, Nissan Note and Kia Venga, that decision is subject to change. For more details click here.
